What is a typical therapy session like?
We emphasize individual care for each of our clients. This means that therapy can look like whatever you need it to. Some people want to come in to process life shifts and aspects of identity, others want to dig deep with unresolved trauma they have experienced. Ember clinicians utilize therapeutic modalities that fit for you. Some examples of this are processing through talking or utilizing other methods such as brainspotting, EMDR, meditation, or even art.
How do I know if my therapist is a good fit?

If you don’t know where to start, our intake team will match you with a therapist based on expertise, treatment approach, and even personality. How much does therapy cost?
Each of our clinicians set their own rates. Some clinicians are in network certain insurance companies, which are reflected in their bios. All Ember clinicians offer a limited amount of sliding scale sessions upon request. Please feel open to discussing this further with your specific therapist.
